Product information
Let’s be honest, most vegan protein powders are grainy, tasteless, and generally a bit of a let down, not Awesome Vegan Protein. You may have seen the reviews online, if not, please do check them out as our plant-based protein is far from the norm. We’ve worked extremely hard to make our vegan protein powder taste incredible. Rich in flavour, smooth in texture, we’re changing the standard for vegan protein powders.
Awesome Plant Power
Protein and amino acids are super important in all our diets and plant-focused eaters often suffer from a lack of choice. This is primarily due to the available protein sources when following a plant-based diet compared to an omnivorous diet. Boosting your protein intake with a supplemental protein powder can be of enormous benefit for a vegan, vegetarian, or someone eating a restricted diet, especially if exercising. We often recommend consuming between 1.5-2g of protein per KG of body weight, and if someone isn’t hitting this a protein powder can be a great way to help achieve this.
With a methodically developed ratio of rice protein, pea protein and cocoa we have achieved a smooth texture and a complete amino acid profile, and the best bit? Its only 70p per serving. It’s time to end underwhelming vegan protein powders, with Awesome Supplements Vegan Protein in a range of exciting and tasty flavours.

FAQs
I’ve tried many vegan protein powders before and they were all grainy and didn’t taste great, why should I try yours?
This is the exact reason we developed Awesome Vegan Protein: because there were no options that tasted nice, and we believed it didn’t have to be this way. We worked hard to get rid of the grainy pea texture and made them taste awesome, and we think we really nailed it. Check out our customer reviews to see what other customers think!
Does the vegan protein have a complete amino acid profile?
Yes. We achieved this by combining pea and rice protein.
Does the vegan protein help weight gain?
While vegan protein is a fantastic source of protein which is necessary for tissue growth and repair, each serving is low in carbohydrate and fat, thus low in calories on it’s own. Blending it with high calorie foods like nut butters and oats is a fantastic way to bump up your daily calorie intake and help gain weight. Liquid calories are less filling than solid food-sourced calories, and so drinking a high calorie smoothie is the perfect weight-gain tool for those with a lower appetite. Overall it can help, of course, but please ensure your overall calorie intake is set up correctly for optimal results
Why do serving sizes differ between flavours?
In order to keep our vegan protein as smooth as possible, avoiding the grainy texture so commonly found in these products, we need to add an ingredient to ‘fill the gaps’ between each grain of pea protein. While two of our flavours use cocoa for this, the vanilla can’t, and so we added a small amount of carbohydrate powder to do the same job. This takes up a little bit of space in the tub and so to get the same protein serving, a little more powder is needed.
Are the number of servings the same with each flavour?
Chocolate Salted Caramel, Choc & Nut and Mixed Berries provide 40 servings per tub. Vanilla has 34.
Am I able to use this while pregnant?
Yes there is no reason you can’t make up some of your protein intake using Awesome Vegan protein during pregnancy, unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
Is the sweetener sucralose safe?
Currently the full body of evidence for the safety of sucralose indicates that it is perfectly safe to consume. Customers regularly ask why not use stevia? This is because stevia, in our opinion, tastes awful, and that’s not what we want! Some individuals with IBS can get irritation from some sweeteners, so be mindful if this is you. Click the following link to read the most up to date research on sucralose.
Can this help me lose fat?
This product is high in protein (so it helps promote satiety) and is low calorie. No supplement can cause weight loss on its own, but this product can certainly help you achieve the calorie deficit necessary to reach that goal.
What is the benefit of vegan protein over whey protein?
While there is no general benefit over whey protein which will apply to everyone, Awesome Vegan Protein offers an additional choice without compromising quality. This means that those sensitive to dairy, or those following a plant-based diet which excludes dairy, can enjoy a great product with awesome flavour and a complete amino acid profile.
Can I cook with it?
Awesome Vegan Protein is perfectly safe for cooking. Neither the protein content or the flavour will be negatively affected
Do I use milk or water? How much?
Your use of milk, milk substitute, or water, and the precise amount, is individual. We recommend you stick to 200-400ml of liquid per serving (apart from Awesome Mixed Berry vegan protein, we made this thicker), and do pay attention to the additional calories if you opt for something other than water. Milk or milk substitute will provide an improved flavour, water will reduce calories – the decision is yours, but we designed ALL of our protein powders to taste awesome with water, so don’t think you need to use milk to make our products taste good, you don’t. When we designed and tested our flavours our aim was always to make it taste awesome with water.
Is Awesome Vegan Protein vegan friendly?
Yes, it’s also gluten and dairy free.
