If it does, you’re in luck! At Ben Coomber Ltd, a company that runs Awesome Supplements & Ben Coomber’s personal brand, we are looking for a self-motivated, creative Content Marketing Assistant to work across all of our attribution channels - helping us to achieve our growth and impact goals. 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for health, wellness and fitness with a good understanding of how to drive performance across multiple marketing channels - truly valuing the power of content.

You will have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to be hyper organised to get shit done - while always learning from the data, market trends, and experimenting, with the aim of doing things better.

We are a fully remote team which means your hours will be flexible (yes, you can go to that gym class at 10am) with weekly project deadlines. You will need to be self-motivated and highly communicable with experience working remotely, ideally having a good working set up at home.

 

Content Marketing Assistant responsibilities include:

You will work alongside and report to our Growth Marketing Manager, with the responsibility of strategising our content marketing in-line with our overarching marketing strategy. 

You will be responsible for creating a bespoke content marketing strategy that leans into the uniqueness of each social platform for Awesome Supplements, and Ben Coombers personal brand. You’ll use original copy, static assets and uniquely edited video content for organic campaigns, while managing posts, networking and creating new and unique opportunities for our brand. 

You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals, while constantly strategising how to improve social media marketing performance with unique and fresh concepts that deliver our message in a powerful and impactful way. 

Staying on top of trends, being able to manage assets (such as ambassadors and influencers), being able to link and utilise the Ben Coomber brand to deliver better results for Awesome Supplements, and constantly see opportunities in how content can be multi-purposed - maximised across all relevant marketing channels. 

As a Content Marketing Assistant, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital marketing technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s mission creatively. 

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our online presence in a forever changing landscape while ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement as a result of your work in impactful content creation.

 

Skills you should possess are: 
  • Excellent grasp on the English language and grammar
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills 
  • Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences and knowing how to adapt content to meet trends 
  • Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals in a strategic way 
  • Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI 
  • Collaborate with other teams, like growth, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency and that your social media marketing activities are understood company wide 
  • Collaborate with partner brands, influencers and ambassadors 
  • Be able to identify content themes, trends and on-brand topics and map out content types, style and scripts for influencers to use - maximising the impact of the content being strategised 
  • Generate, edit, schedule, and share engaging content consistently across social channels - including paid campaign assets (e.g. original copy, photos, graphics and videos), with strong knowledge on the software needed to create such assets 
  • Monitor data and metrics - making sure we understand what’s working and what’s not
  • Communicate with followers (working alongside our social media community manager), responding to queries in a timely manner and monitoring the volume of customer reviews we get from talking to our customers (working alongside our customer champion) 
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design 
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, engagement and conversions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Be willing to act as a content gatekeeper to ensure content stays on brand and aligns with our values and mission - from all contributing social media marketing assets. 
Requirements and skills:
  • Bonus* nutritional background/training
  • 2 years work experience as a Content Marketing Assistant 
  • Highly organised and communicative
  • Hands on experience in content creation and management with the ability to constantly innovate with the market 
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (copy, image and video) to a high standard 
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and the differences in approach / strategy needed for each 
  • Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools, ideally having a computer and the needed software 
  • Data analytical skills
Role specifics:
  • This is a full time, remote employed position 
  • Usual business hours are Monday to Friday, but flexible 
  • Working from home
  • Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager
  • Hours - 37.5 hours per week
  • 25 days of annual leave, excluding bank holidays

 

Salary & Benefits:
  • ÂŁ25k - ÂŁ30k / annum, depending on experience
  • Statutory pension
