Chocolate Protein Doughnuts

These donuts are the perfect snack if you’re looking to up your daily protein intake a bit as each donut has 10g. Simple and easy to make these chocolatey indulgent, but low-calorie doughnuts are perfect for an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup vegan chocolate salted caramel protein powder @awesomesupps (nothing new there, the obsession continues)
• 1/4 cup plain flour
• 1 egg (could use a flax egg to make fully plant based)
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 large banana
• 1/4 cup almond milk
• 1 handful of dark chocolate chips

How to make

1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
2. Add all of your ingredients into a large mixing bowl & combine well until the batter reaches a thick consistency (you may need to add more almond milk).
3. Divide your batter across your donut moulds, filling them up to 2/3 full.
4. Bake donuts for 12-15 mins.
5. Allow donuts to cool completely before drizzling your melted choc on top & setting them in the fridge before enjoying.
